GP believes reducing paper product usage and waste at the source is an important component in stewardship of the environment.

• Source reduction is the design, manufacture, purchase or use of materials to reduce the amount of waste generated.
• If we reduce our use, we:
• Reduce the raw materials required for manufacture
• Reduce waste created during the manufacturing process
• Reduce packaging required
• Reduce waste after the use of a product
• Reduce the amount of fuel used and pollution created during transportation
• Avoid generation of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) and their emission into the atmosphere
