SiteStuff Project Sourcing and Jones Lang LaSalle partner to upgrade cooling tower
The Park Central VII office building, managed by Jones Lang LaSalle in Dallas, Texas, needed a new cooling tower. The management team looked to SiteStuff’s Project Sourcing to improve the process and the results of this project.
The Project
Terry Addington, Senior Chief Engineer for the property, lead the team and worked with SiteStuff. “The process was fabulous and went like clockwork.,” says Terry Addington. “With my direction and input, SiteStuff built a professional, detailed RFP that met the needs of my project. We worked together to identify which contractors were involved and the Proposal Summary made it very easy to gain our Owner’s approval,” noted Terry.
Addington added, “SiteStuff’s process integrated well with our existing process; however, they were able to contribute and make improvements. I was able to say what I needed and forget about it until the quotes were submitted back to me. I felt comfortable that nothing proceeded without my approval yet I saved a great deal of time.”
How it Works
SiteStuff evaluates the property’s completed project sourcing questionnaire, as well as any preliminary engineering work, in order to develop a draft RFP. The final, approved RFP is administered to approved contractors. Additionally, SiteStuff coordinates the contractor on-site visits.
Contractors submit their proposals to the SiteStuff team who then reviews for thoroughness and completeness. SiteStuff then prepares a Proposal Summary report that facilitates the owner approval process.
